My wife bought this book and I was skeptical at first. I mean, we don't eat dinner out of the box so we are clean eating right? She was on board so I started to fight my way through it... and it was great. There are simple rules to follow so as I was conforming I caught myself reading labels and changing my eating habits to find there were a few things I could easily change to improve my eating habits. I caught the pounds starting to come off but more importantly I really started to feel better. I know it is cliche but I was eating healthier and feeling better. Now we will make clean eating meals together and being over 40 changes like this are for the better.

We have gotten our 20 something kids on it at well and they love it. It helped us bring more awareness to what we are putting in our mouths and it is an educational process for the family. So if you are in your 20's and looking to be a little more fit and healthy this is a great book and if you are in your 40's and looking for a way to be healthier and drop a few pounds this is great for you too.

Clean Eating is an interesting concept. If one were to follow this book's use of clean food concepts one would certainly be healthy. However, it may be hard to keep at it for an extended period. Possibly combining the clean food concepts with a healthy diet would be the way go.
I know that this book would work well with my book,"Dick's Fish and Poultry Diabetes Cookbook,it would be a great combination. I am sure it would be a great resource for almost any healthy diet plan.

This was a great quick read , good common sense facts about health, nutrition, and avoiding processed foods , user-friendly and easy to follow!
This is the simplest explanation of Clean Eating I have come across. The suggestions and recipes are delicious sounding and simple to make. They are ideal for the busy mom who hasn't the time to spend hours preparing healthy food. I have been eating clean since April 9, 2014, as of today I have dropped over 17 lbs. Today is May 6th, 2014.
Before eating clean I hardly had the energy to pull myself up the stairs to go to bed. I was depressed and lethargic. My brain was in a fog. But now I feel joyous..I have boundless energy to get my tasks done. I feel so happy and healthy. I cannot wait to try these recipes!
Great tips and ideas inside this book. If you want to be a more healthy eater, this is a good start.
This book was not worth the time or money. Content was vague & obviously written by an amateur. The so called recipes gave no list of ingredients or measurements.
Ideas presented are nothing new and a stab at weight watchers. Yes if a person is wanting to lose weight calorie counting & exercise is necessary. Yes we wish to eliminate bad foods. Too much fat, sodium etc.
nothing learned. Don't bother. Go to your nutritionist or family doctor for the same advice. Or join weight watchers. They preach the same values but much more helpful.
Total waste of time & money.
